Keshav Lall
Founding Partner
Keshav is a Managing Partner and Founder of Uzzi & Lall. With over 20 years of experience in strategic transactions, including restructuring, M&A, and capital raises, Keshav has advised a wide range of stakeholders in complex financial engagements.
Before founding Uzzi & Lall, Keshav was a Senior Managing Director at a premier boutique financial advisory firm, where he served as CRO for numerous debtors and led creditor-side engagements for prominent global investment firms and family offices.
Earlier in his career, Keshav was the Chairman and CEO of Essar Capital Americas, overseeing a portfolio of five companies with over 3,500 employees and $3 billion of revenue. He successfully navigated complex cross-border restructurings for several Essar businesses involving various stakeholders, including hedge funds, private equity firms, governments, unions, and sovereign wealth funds.
Keshav began his career in Deutsche Bank's M&A division, followed by over a decade of principal investing at Deutsche Bank, Marblegate, Citadel, and Balyasny. He played a leading role in some of the most complex restructurings, including Lyondell, Nortel, TXU, and Momentive.
Keshav graduated cum laude from Cornell University with a degree in Applied Economics and Business Management.
